What you'll do: keep accurate books across multiple entities, handle reconciliations, withholding and tax filings, prepare financial statements and audits, and support budgets and forecasts.

Tools: QuickBooks, Odoo, Xero, Excel or Google Sheets.

FinOps for AI infrastructure

AI companies have a new kind of cost: model APIs and inference. FinOps sits where finance, operations and engineering meet.

What you'll do: forecast AI vendor spend against product usage, negotiate pricing and commitments, find savings through model routing and tier choices, manage vendor relationships, and give leadership clear visibility into costs.

Good to know: a technical understanding of AI APIs (tokens, inference calls, model tiers) is essential.

People and culture

What you'll do: build the systems behind a high-performance culture as the team grows: onboarding, performance management, career paths, people analytics and support for hiring strategy. It's not a traditional HR role. Read Culture isn't branded activities for how we think about it.

Technical recruiting

What you'll do: own hiring end to end for engineering, AI, ML and design roles. You'll screen with real technical understanding, source on LinkedIn, GitHub, Discord and niche communities, and build pipelines before roles open. Our recruiters start with our hiring playbook, inspired by Sam Altman, Revolut and Bending Spoons.

Operations and IT

Operations executives run office logistics, vendors, documentation, onboarding, travel and team meals. IT and systems administrators own devices, networks, Google Workspace and Slack administration, SaaS licences, helpdesk and endpoint security.

Tools: Google Workspace, Slack, Notion, MDM tools, Apps Script or Python for automation.
